Hairline cracks in walls

This is a different query to the cracking walls posted further down this forum. I have noticed many small hairline cracks appearing over my walls the past year or so. It's nothing to be alarmed about. Builders have told me it's natural that houses move and so these hairline cracks are to be expected - but I'm not entirely convinced.

Is this normal?

I also had a many different hairline cracks on one of my walls, it turned out to be nothing dangerous, just adjusments of my house. But I had small crack in a outbuilding at my previous house, and it turned out to be something wrong with the fundation of the building and I had to redo some support to try to prevent it from falling.....

For the older style plaster walls, small cracks are common. You need to be concerned when they become larger. Otherwise, don't worry about it.
