Bodge Job!
 

I remember a while ago having a good giggle to myself. My next door neighbor decided he wanted an extension onto his house, now he's sort of a builder so when he came round to ask if it was OK, I calmly said "That's fine!". Much to my dismay though the job went ahead but it was somewhat of a mess. There's me thinking that you build the bricks up first before putting the glass and the frame in for the window - but oh no, he decided that the window would good in first. He propped it up on stilts and then built his bricks round it. The outcome? Lots of cement to fill in the gaps between where the bricks ended and the window frame started! As for the amount of space he had in his little extension, well, you could just about fit a sofa in there, but you had to climb onto the chair to sit on it. Every time I walked past it was like a viewing gallery. I had someone sat there with their face pressed up against the glass!

I must ask, what's a " sort of builder"?
I imagine that if he did paid work for others he never used his extension as an example of the work he did :D
Can I ask, is it still standing?
