Cracking Walls

Hi

I have some walls (concrete) that seems to be cracking alot. I have filled the cracks with PollyFill and then repainted, but it seems to keep cracking. What can I do to make the paint absorb the small cracks?

I'll need to watch this thread! We have walls doing the same thing and the plan is to fill and repaint... but this sounds like that may not be the best plan of action? I really don't know what else could be done that would prevent re-cracking, but I hope to find out before we dig into that project (most likely in the spring).

Hi!

For how many years has it been cracking? Was it only recently or since it was new? If it's been for some years, it's probably poor materials but if it's only recent there might be some shifting in the foundations. Well built concrete walls usually gets harder as they age.
