Question Decks

What kind of deck do you have?
I have a one level wooden deck on the back of my house. It is pretty small but I'm thinking about expanding it to almost all around the house except the front.

I have a project that I want to start on next year, and that is to create a outdoor social corner, with a built in barbeque and pizza oven, as well as a splash pool for the kids. I am going to put a wooden corner, make it feel comfy and open at the same time.

I have started making measurement and will start drawing it up, as noone will think I can do it But we will see next year. I figure it willl allow me to use the garden corner optimally and enjoy it. It should end up being about 5 feet times 20 feet, and a little L shape...

My sister had a lot of decking placed down at the bottom of her garden for BBQs. It's very pretty but there is a tendency to lose all sorts down there. I'm sure it's swallowed some money of mine!
