Bamboo fountain
Hi!
I've always wanted to make a bamboo fountain similar to the picture below. I already have the right bamboo parts to make into a water spout. I'm now collecting stones and pebbles that'll line the little pond. What do you think of the project? |

I really like that idea and the picture you showed us. That'll add a lot of spice and flavor to your house .

this one is something different from the regular type of fountains. gives a much more traditional look. and the lotus in the middle, much more like a wildlife look

I must agree with you. Bamboo gives a traditional and wild life look to your garden, specially if you have a fairly green backyard. Bamboo is a great material since they are very resistant to water. In some countries, many people use it to as gutters on their houses, and it works very well. |

That looks absolutely fantastic. Especially if it's nice clear water you could have yourself a wash outside. Imagine that! Although in the United Kingdom it would be rather chilly. Better for somewhere with a warmer climate.

That looks like a nice project, tucked away in a shady quite place of any garden. The sound of trickling water makes a nice background for contemplation and meditation. A shishi odoshi or Japanese deer scare would nicely compliment it.

am sure that the water sound in the background makes a good environment for meditation but nowdays where do you get an area where you cant hear people shouting or the drivers honking their horn. and very hard to find such place where one can enjoy such kind of atmosphere.
hey flipax, whats the second picture of??? is it a fountain too?? |

Beautiful! I'd really like something like that in my back yard. We already have the start of a little area that it would fit perfectly into. Right now there's just bird "stuff" like a couple of feeders, a bird bath... oh, and a rose bush. It's visible from the back windows and I really enjoy adding things to that area. |
