Default Garden Lights

Hi,

I am thinking of installing a number of solar powered garden lights, these seem nice as they are purely powered by solar power. Great if you are alittle C02 aware.

Just would like to know if someone have tried these and if they work as good as they are supposed to?

We have these illuminating our pond. It's much safer because if a light drops in the water there's no chance of the electric touching the water. Especially living in the United Kingdom - we're not renowned for having a lot of sun. The sun chooses when it wants to come out - winter solstice doesn't matter to our sun! The lights tend to be very sensitive to soaking up the light so I've noticed they do not need much to be fully-charged. They then last for a good few hours. I'd say around 4 to 5 hours which will see you through to the time you go to bed.

in india i have seen solar powered lights as street lights but never as garden lights . maybe they are expensive over here. i think the govt. puts up solar lights here and individuals are not so interested.lot of abundant solar energy over here and these guys are making good use of it.

I have just installed these small garden lights, they are self sufficient when it comes to power, which is great for me. I am just very curious how long they will last.......
